Stanley No.2 Smoothing Plane (Some Restoration Required) Type 5-8

The lateral ajustment lever doesn't work as it hould as the 'ring / washer' type part is missing so it doesn't catch on the Iron, should be a relatively easy fix. The other things is the Iron as you can see is very very low and doesn't have much sharpening left in it (slight edge to it as is)

Overall the plane looks fine and you can use as it is but it you may want to resolve the issues above.

The lateral lever also has no patent dates on it hence the approximation of the 5-8 type.

Rust staining as usual and possibly the lightest of pitting in places but nothing too bad.
