Stanley No.4 1/2 Type 8 (1899 - 1902) Smoothing Plane

Please see the photo's of one side of the plane at the back, this has a chip out of casting but shouldn't affect use. I wanted to keep this plane together rather than split up for parts, it is a shame about the slight break.

With Sweetheart Iron.

One patent date on lever.7/24/88

The usual rust staining and scratches along with the chip mentioned above.
