Vintage Delmond French Axe / Hatchet

This is marked Delmond then has another word underneath which I just can't work out.

A nice looking axe head that certainly looks French.

Cutting edge around 6" 

Total length of handle around 20"

Slight wobble in head so may need to be re-attached if for use.
