Stanley Bailey No. 5 1/2 Jack Plane - Type 16 Or 17

This has quite a thick base casting (around 5/32") which suggests to me type 17 but it has no other features for a type 17.

With Stanley Iron which will need a good sharpen, lever cap chrome chipped.

In general all ok, the usual rust stains etc.
