Vintage Shaped From A Slip Stone - Natural Translucent Sharpening Stone

The longest edge on this is 3 1/2" and at widest point 2" it narrows down from around 3/8" to 1/8"

Very smooth to the touch so I would think a finishing stone.

Translucent when held up to the light (you can see your fingers straight through it)
