Nice Vintage Translucent Arkansas Sharpening Stone - 3" Width

This stone measures 8 5/8" x 3" x 7/8"

I'm no expert in sharpening stones though I have sold several hundreds over the years, and I think this is Arkansas though please look closely at the photo's to come to your own conclusion.

Some chips around the edges and may need a clean, one side a little rougher in condition than the other, a couple of natural dipped parts, on the other side that has been used there is certainly no major dips or a dish but may need to be lapped flat.

Last photo is the stone held up to the light.

Nice to get a stone this width.

No box with this, just the stone.

Caramel in colour and smooth on both sides.
