3" Chariot Plane With J.Buck Iron

Nice little chariot plane which seems to be more brass than gun metal i would personally say but please look at photo's to make up your own mind, the normal dullness of gun metal isn't there so i am going with brass for this one.

The base measures a little over 3", around 3 1/16" x 1 1/2" width, the mouth is ok, not perfect as has some light chip marks near corners but not too bad.

The Iron is 1 1/4" with and marked J Buck so may well have a Norris connection, however no maker name stamped on the plane, there is a name but a user name which isn't completely readable S.W. Co??nutt, The iron does have pitting as shown and will need to be sharpened to desired level but it is already ok as is.

The usual marks and scratches you would expect from an elderly plane.
