Vintage Dovetailed Steel Mitre Plane 200mm Length

Dovetailed on the side to the sole

Not the best condition but a hard to find plane.

Rust staining on the sides and sole, the mouth is very tight and thin which is rarely seen, however either side of the mouth there are a couple of what i am sure are scratches, in the position they are in you may think they are cracks but i don't think they are, please see photo's and i can send more on request.

Not the original Iron and the wedge has part missing but looks like this has been like it for a long time and it doesn't look out of place.

User name stamped on front bun but lightly done.

2 3/16" sole width.

The mouth is 1 3/4" x 1/32" mouth not 100% smooth on sides but pretty good.

Rear of the plane has evidence of being hit as seen.

Overall a rare plane that needs some work but if desired should be ok to use as is.
